The Impact of Thoughtful Mental Health Care

At Silver Linings Psychiatry, we believe healing is possible—with the right support. Evidence-based psychiatric care, including therapy and medication management, can create meaningful and lasting changes in people’s lives. The numbers speak for themselves:

75% of individuals who participate in psychotherapy experience noticeable improvement in their symptoms, emotional well-being, or ability to function in daily life.
86% report therapy helped them better cope with life's challenges.
For those living with chronic mental health conditions such as schizophrenia, community psychiatric care—like what we offer—has been shown to improve social connection, reduce hospitalization, and enhance overall quality of life.

New Patient Evaluation

Supportive, personalized care from the very first visit

All new patients begin with an initial psychiatric evaluation. This 45-minute session allows Nina to get a clear picture of your mental health, medical history, life context, and goals. Together, you’ll explore the psychological, biological, and emotional factors that influence your well-being.

Please complete all intake forms before your appointment and share any relevant records, such as previous diagnoses, medications, or treatment notes.

Each evaluation results in a tailored treatment plan that may include medication management, lifestyle recommendations, lab work, therapy referrals, or mindfulness tools. Nina’s approach is holistic, trauma-informed, and grounded in collaboration—not judgment.

Follow-Up Appointments

Consistent, connected care that grows with you

Return visits are typically 15 to 30 minutes, depending on your needs and treatment plan. These sessions are used to monitor your progress, make adjustments to medications, and provide ongoing support.

The frequency of follow-ups depends on your stability, goals, and any changes to your care. Nina is committed to providing steady, supportive check-ins without rushing your process.

Integrated Medication Management

Nina provides medication management with supportive conversation, helping you explore what’s working, what’s not, and how to move forward with clarity. She focuses on treating conditions such as:

  • Anxiety & Panic Disorders

  • Schizoaffective disorders

  • Depression & Mood Disorders

  • ADHD

  • PTSD & Trauma

  • Stress & Life Transitions

  • Bipolar Spectrum Disorders

Your care may include discussion of lifestyle, sleep, nutrition, and other supportive practices alongside any prescribed medications.

Insurance & Reimbursement

Silver Linings Psychiatry is an out-of-network provider. However, your insurance may allow you to see an “out of network” physician and seek “out of network” reimbursement.

When requested, we can provide a “super bill”, which is a billing invoice with necessary information for you to submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement.
Depending on your policy, you may receive up to 75% reimbursement for  services. Your insurance company can inform you of the amount they reimburse you for out of network care.
